Gone Fishing

I woke up early this morning and started working on some projects in the garage, painting a few pieces that I had started yesterday. My intentions were to paint a few pieces and then come in and write the next post for the Seek First series I have been going through for the last few weeks. As I was working in the garage, my neighbor across the street came out of the house with his toddler son in the stroller, fishing pole in hand as they walked down to the creek beside my house. A great morning for some father & son time.

As I watched this, it dawned on me that this blog is about “Faith, Family, and Fun”. I am in the middle of a 90-day challenge to strengthen my foundation and my writing has been focused on building my faith. The 90-day challenge is focused on building my faith and my physical health. It has been a great 25 days and I can see improvements in my own spiritual and physical health. But watching my neighbor this morning reminded me that it may be time to pause for a little family and fun.

Keep reading a chapter of Proverbs every day and continue your daily exercise program.

I’ll be back on Tuesday.
